Call Line is a regular free, non-emergency service for lonely and vulnerable people who live within the Lanarkshire area.

Consistent and friendly contact can be of great comfort to people who live alone as they often feel a sense of isolation and their confidence is undermined.  Family and friends may live some distance away and visitors are few.

The aim of our service is to make daily calls to members for a friendly chat and to make sure they are OK.  The calls are made by our volunteers from Monday to Friday and are available in the morning or afternoon.

As a call line volunteer, you will be placed on a rota around your availability, and be responsible for making these calls and liasing with staff should you have any concerns regarding a member.

 Full training will be provided.
