Spotlight on: Armed Services Community Group
Our Armed Services Community Group began as a group for veterans designed by veterans, where like minded individuals can come together to make friends, share stories, take part in activities and enjoy a lovely lunch.
A Veteran is someone who served in ANY armed service for ANY length of time (even if only for one day), their family members, merchant Navy, people who did national service, admin personnel of any armed service, and territorial and reservist personnel.
The group have recently enjoyed a tip to the Military Museum in February, so the plans for their next two meetings are:
- Mar 7th: Lunch served by Heart of Africa, followed by some quiz games
- Mar 21st: Lunch served by Heart of Africa, followed by some quiz games.
