Welcoming You Back ...
Over the next few weeks and months, we will slowly but surely be welcoming back our volunteers and members. In September we are holding special "get togethers" for our volunteers so that they can reconnect with each other before our members return. Thanks to O2 Virgin Media and Neighbourly, we have been able to host afternoon tea's for our volunteers, staff and Board to thank them for all their support over the last 18 months.
Some services never stopped, such as our Call Line, meal deliveries and shopping buses. Our gardening and walking groups restarted over the summer months, and August saw the return of our Craft group and Exercise classes as well as our Handyperson and NHS Community Car services. This month we hope to see our Genealogy group members return.
However, everything we are doing is with a touch of caution. Covid numbers in our area remain very high, and the safety and wellbeing of our staff, volunteers and members remains our number one priority. So please bear with us while we slowly test the return of services and activities.
