Spotlight on: Gardening Group
Are you a keen gardener? A complete novice who wants to learn? Or simply want to be part of a social group? Then our gardening group could be exactly what you're looking for!
Our Garden group meet every Wednesday, here at our centre from 11am-1pm.
They tend to our gardens, making sure our plants thrive and that it's always looking it's best. They also create lovely planters that you will find around our building and can be purchased to raise funds for LDVG.
We are introducing a new schedule for the group which means we can plan for rainy days, and everyone will always know what's going on. You may not think gardening is your forte, but there may be something happening one week that you see and think "I'm going to give that a go" and could spark a whole new hobby - and this we encourage!
If you have a creative side then joining our garden group to paint pots and other items to make the garden look it's best is also an option - and if you are handy, you could assist in making small items for the garden e.g wheelbarrow planters and bedding boxes.
