CELEBRATING OUR VOLUNTEERS
Thanks to a grant from ASDA Foundation, we were able to throw a Valentine's themed party on Friday 8th Feb 2019, to thank our volunteers for all their invaluable work over the last year. The night included a thank you drink for everyone, a delicious buffet, valentines quiz, karaoke, party games, free raffle and finished with a disco. The highlight of the night had to be the Volunteers Thank You song, written and performed by Ann Nisbet, our Volunteer Coordinator. Everyone who came had a fantastic time. Thanks to all who came along and to all the staff who worked hard to make sure our volunteers had the night they deserved.

Our 2018 Annual General Meeting took place on Wednesday 12th September, at 5.30pm. Many thanks to all who attended.
FUNDING NEWS ...
December 2018: We were delighted to receive 2 donations in December. The first was from Larkhall Thistle who donated the sales from the gate on the date of their Legends game. We were presented with a cheque for £600 and offer our thanks to everyone involved.
We also received a donation of £625 from Larkhall Leisure Centre as their chosen charity for their December fundraising. The money was raised through raffle sales and from staff taking part in the 'Christmas jumper day'. Again we offer our thanks to everyone involved. We are truly grateful for all of the donations we receive.
2nd July 2018: We are delighted to report that we have successfully been awarded £1000 from Tesco Bags of Help and £200 from Asda Green Tokens. The Tesco grant will contribute to the cost of replacing one of our minibuses, and the ASDA grant will be used to cover volunteer expenses for our free Handyperson Service. Thanks to both Tesco and ASDA for their generousity and to those customers who voted for us!
